Art, music and movement in the early years nurture creative problem solving skills in the later years. Waldorf graduates run companies like American Express and create innovative environmental businesses like Seventh Generation.

Written by a Waldorf graduate: "During orientation for law school, a professor was lecturing on the importance of preparing for courtroom litigation. He asked us, "Have any of you had experience in public speaking?" Quite a few of us raised our hands. He then asked, "What about acting on stage?" A smaller number of us raised our hands. "Dancing on Stage? Playing a musical instrument? Singing? Reciting poetry?"His point was well taken: If you are going to be a successful litigator, you can't get stage fright.

After the presentation the professor approached me and said, "I don't know if you noticed, but you were the only student who raised a hand for every single activity mentioned. You must have had a pretty incredible childhood." I couldn't help but fondly recall my Waldorf education.
