Where do WSRF Graduates go after 8th Grade?

There are over 300 Alumni from the Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork! Graduates from our school attend High Schools across the Roaring Fork Valley with classes annually sending students to Aspen High School, Basalt High School, Colorado Rocky Mountain School (CRMS), Glenwood Springs High School, and Roaring Fork High School.

Nina Villafranco WSRF ‘21, CRMS ‘25

Nina is a part of the CRMS Class of 2025, where she was captain of the mountain bike team in the fall of 2024, and serves as Co-President of the Environmental Club. She is also the down-valley captain of the AVSC U20 Nordic Race Team. She's looking to join a nordic ski team in college, and will have to find room for her beloved cello somewhere on campus wherever she lands!

Isaac Musselman WSRF ‘17, BHS ‘21, Air Force Academy ‘25

Isaac graduates Spring ‘25 with a Bachelor of Science from the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. He's a member of the elite squadron of the Wings of Blue Air Force skydiving team. He founded the Aerospace Club at Basalt High School. Isaac has said, “I am grateful that WSRF fostered my curiosity for the world by emphasizing reading and playing outside over screen-time. I am always eager for actual conversation. My time at WSRF instilled in my an aptitude for conversation skills that I believe directly contributed to my Academy acceptance.”

Emmaline Warner WSRF ‘22, RFHS ‘26

Emmaline was inducted into the National Honors Society at RFHS. She is taking multiple AP and CMC classes this year. She is having a great season mountain biking competitively and will be returning to the Sunlight volunteer ski patrol this winter for a second year.

Erik Phillips WSRF ‘10, AHS ‘14 CalPoly Tech ‘18

Erik received a Computer Science degree from Cal Polytechnic and now works at Apple as a Software Engineering Manager. Erik has said, “A Waldorf Education teaches children to be curious about the world around them and this includes technology when the times comes.
