Toddler Program
For children ages 18 to 36 months
A healthy and thoughtful transition to a school environment sets the stage for each child’s future. At the Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork, we are focused on creating a welcoming, loving environment where our youngest students begin their transition away from the home and into days spent playing, exploring and growing steadily more aware of themselves and the world around them. The space and curriculum is structured to nourish physical, social and emotional growth.
Our Toddler Program has been carefully designed to meet children 18 to 36 months of age with curriculum grounded in rhythm, nature, movement and social play. This program is intended as a wonderful introduction for toddlers to be away from parents and caregivers for the very first time as they grow more accustomed to spending days away from home. It serves a stepping stone for the transition into future Pre School programs. Children’s safety and care is our top priority with their every need being the focus of our experienced teaching staff.
Key Program Details: 5 Full Days or 3 Full Days
5 Full Day Program: Mondays - Fridays 8:15am-3:00pm (with option for half day pickups on a preplanned, family by family basis, no tuition adjustment given for half day pick ups.)
3 Full Day Program: 3 Days per week (Monday-Friday), 8:15am-3:00pm. Days are assigned based on availability. Preferences are collected in the application and we do our best to meet the needs of families, space depending.
Both programs have some holidays and days off, see details below for full dates
Group size capped at 7 students per day with 1 Lead & 1 Assistant teacher for a 2:7 ratio (State ratio 1:5)
Hosted in our Early Childhood Center on the 13-acre WSRF campus
This is not a drop in program. Families are required to register for full sessions (session dates below) and we ask that children attend the 5 or 3 days weekly to establish rhythm and social connection for the class as a whole (with the exception of holidays, excused absences and preplanned half days)
Tuition is all inclusive with healthy, organic daily snacks provided twice a day and parents send lunch (our Individualized Tuition Adjustment Process is now available for this program and multiple payment plans are available. Please speak to our office with any questions in relation to tuition or how we can support your family.)

*Early Dismissal at 12pm on: 8/30, 9/27, 11/22, 12/6, 12/19, 3/13, 4/18, 5/2
All Inclusive, Full Year Tuition: $23,300
Example Payment: $1,942 per month for a 12 month payment plan (+processing fees)
