For Early Childhood Families: We will be celebrating Martinmas/Lantern Walk on Thursday, Nov 11th at 5:00PM. Thursday evening, just as it is getting dark we will come together at school with our lanterns. Please come dressed warmly and bring a lighter. It has happened in the past that a candle has gone out on the walk and the child is very sad…. So, please put a lighter into your pocket! All teachers will have extra tea lights in their pockets in case a child should lose its tea light. We ask that during the walk you join us in song and not talk with your neighbors as it will take the mood of wonder away. Families have found it to be very nice to walk silently back to their cars and continue back home without any radio. We look forward to seeing you all!
