Marina O’Keefe

Starflower Lead Teacher

Marina O’Keefe (WSRF class of ‘97) was born and raised in the Roaring Fork Valley. Marina's journey with the Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork started at the very beginning as her parents, Stephen and CP Kanipe, helped found the school, and Marina is the school's first graduate. She earned her BA in Sociology from Fort Hays State University and has a passion for and extensive background with young children. Marina taught preschool before her oldest son Drew was born and is excited to be back in the classroom. She helped establish the Starflower toddler class in 2021 and is delighted to lead the program as it continues to grow and flourish. She and her husband Tim live in Glenwood Springs with their five incredible children all of whom attend WSRF.
