Julie completed her B.A. in Environmental Studies and Community Development from The Evergreen State College. Not quite done with her studies, she traveled to Johannesburg, South Africa to complete a graduate degree in Secondary Education and then to Sydney, Australia for her Waldorf teacher training, which she completed in 2006. Directly after graduating, Julie accepted a class teacher position at the Marin Waldorf School in Northern California where she taught two incredible classes of children for 8 years. During her sabbatical year, Julie and her husband traveled the world before settling in the Roaring Fork Valley where they welcomed their daughter, Magnolia. After 8 years of class teaching at WSRF, Julie transitioned into the Enrollment Department where she brings her love and passion for Waldorf Education as inspiration to new families who seek out our school. In her free time, Julie enjoys snowboarding, hiking, cooking, spending time with friends, and most of all, travels and adventures with her husband and daughter.
