December Community Offerings (Dec 9th 2022)
Winter Music Assembly
Dear WSRF Strings Families,
On behalf of our strings team, we wish you and yours a wonderful start to December and the start to the holiday season. I am writing to ask that you please save the date on Thursday, December 15th at 6pm for an evening music assembly (in the Hall) which will run about 1 hour. The performance will be lived streamed on the school's facebook page, here.
Please plan to have your musician arrive at their classroom by 5:30 to get tuned and to shake out their pre-concert jitters!
Happy December and Happy Practicing!
Holiday Wreaths from the 6th Grade
The Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork’s long-standing tradition of selling holiday wreaths is successful through support from our community. Money earned from these fundraisers goes towards Middle School students’ end-of-the-year class trips. The class trips give the children a chance to celebrate, gain new experiences, build memories and help others.
This year we are selling 22” fresh frasure fur wreaths, decorated with juniper pine cones and bows.
Wreaths are available for immediate purchase from any friendly 6th grader!
Thank you, Alexis and Friends!
Thank you to Alexis Jones for leading coordination efforts of Winterfaire and bringing such a joyous day to life, along with the countless parents who volunteered, baked goodies, cleaned up, started fires, made espresso drinks, crafted lovely Angel Room gifts, led the crafting rooms, all in addition to the hundreds of small tasks that needed doing during the day.
Winterfaire was a magical day for one and all. Thank you for making it a great success!
Faculty Holiday Giving
If parents wish to leave their children's teachers a holiday card or gift, bags will be available in the sunroom from Monday, December 12th until Wednesday, December 21st.
