September News (Sept 22nd, 2023)
WSRF Friends and Community,
Please join us at 8:45 on Friday, September 29th for Michaelmas, our fall celebration of courage. The student pageant will start promptly at 9:00am.
The pageant tells the story of Saint George and the Dragon, a reminder that each and every one of us carries the light of courage necessary to overcome the challenges in our lives.
Parents are welcome to join us again at noon to take part in the all-school meal, giving thanks for the bounty of summer and all that we have to be grateful for.
There Will Be Soup!

Festivals at WSRF mark the changes of the season and offer our community the opportunity for reflection and celebration. As adults, we strive to model intentional community for our students: Each child isn’t cared for solely by a single class teacher, but by our entire faculty and staff, and by extension, the entire WSRF community.
The ability to welcome change and express gratitude are important life-skills for our students. Acknowledging change and weathering transitions builds resilience in our children, and through gratitude, we seek to recognize the inherent goodness of the world. Festivals help our students develop these capacities for life. Learn more about festivals at WSRF here.
