Thank you for a wonderful school year!

We've reached the end of WSRF’s 30th school year and on behalf of our entire community we would like to say thank you:

Thank you to all the students, teachers, staff, parents & community members near and far who have been a part of our school this past year and have built, nurtured and supported the growth of Waldorf Education in the Roaring Fork Valley for the past three decades!

Thank you for another school year, filled with the return of class plays, class trips, festivals, Friday assemblies and so many of the community aspects that make our school unique.

Thank you for another year of dynamic and engaging learning for all our students across a curriculum that engages, nourishes and challenges our students as it prepares them for the future.

Despite the last two years, our community continues to grow and thrive. As we bid farewell to another school year, we look with great excitement to building the future decades of WSRF with a historic numbers of families as a part of our school!

Thank you for choosing an education that prepares students for life by nurturing lifelong learners, creative thinkers and compassionate individuals.

 In gratitude,

Departing Teachers

We’d like to honor those who have been with us this year, but are moving on to other ventures in life. They have devoted their skills and love for teaching, but more importantly their steadfast love for our students. We wish them all the best as they transition.

Molly Cherney: Molly led our woodworking program this year with grace and enthusiasm! We are grateful for her time and knowledge that she brought to leading incredible project with all our grades students. Her adaptability and kindness will be missed on campus. Thank you Molly for all you have given to our school this year!

Daisy Hargrave: Daisy was this year’s sixth grade class teacher. She stepped into a new role in Waldorf education as a class teacher. Daisy’s passion and enthusiasm, particularly for math and science was a light in the sixth grade room this year. Thank you Daisy for your time and dedication to our school this year.

Matt Johnson: Matt has been a part of WSRF for twenty years. He has been in just about every role and has devoted much of his life to this education and our school. Matt has always been willing to take on any need that the school has had, including stepping in as class teacher several times. Matt is a skilled math teacher, but also very skilled in the arts. We wish Matt a smooth transition into the next phase of life. Thank you, Matt for all that you have offered the school.
