Maria Sabljak
Willow Forest Assistant Teacher
Maria grew up in Southeastern WI and she attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she received a B.A. in Biological Aspects of Conservation. Since then, she has attained many experiences working with endangered wildlife, land restoration, sustainable agriculture and environmental education.
Maria moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2013 to work at the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies as an educator. She was first introduced to anthroposophy by attending a Biodynamic Agriculture workshop at the Sustainable Settings Ranch in Carbondale, CO. She was intrigued by this way of living and that helped form her position at the WSRF. Her passions include creating art, reading, dancing and finding the wonder and joy in each day.
