Clay Allen

Music Teacher

Clay received a B.F.A. from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts and his Waldorf teacher certification from Waldorf Institute of Southern California. Clay began his teaching journey as the 1st and 2nd Grade Assistant at Pasadena Waldorf School in California. Following a period of stay-at-home parenting of his three children, Clay resumed formal teacher training and moved with his family to Carbondale. Clay believes that Waldorf Education lights the way toward free-thinking, compassionate individuals in full possession of their innate capacities — a true and bright hope for the future.
